At TeamUp we’ve developed a number of accessible workplace mindfulness programs based on 30 years of coaching senior business leaders from around the world. They are designed to help your leaders and teams better deal with the inevitable day to day challenges of the working environment and to help your organization increase productivity, reduce people turnover and increase an overall sense of wellbeing.
Studies have continuously shown that employees who are more skilled at working with their internal stress triggers will ultimately be more content, more focused and as a result, more productive.
Mindfulness training also improves relationships within teams and across departments, allowing people to be more creative, more resilient and more attentive. As such, it offers a long-term benefit for the whole organization and high return on investment.
Many employee mindfulness courses will teach the simple concepts....be more present, take deep breaths, take time to really focus on what your doing and practice gratitude. All of these are useful in themselves and will make employees feel better. However the full potential of mindfulness in the workplace is only revealed when:
a) employees tailor a mindfulness practice that is uniquely theirs and addresses their specific workplace challenges and;
b) they get to experience the learning and fulfilment achieved by supporting a fellow work colleague's mindfulness journey of self discovery. This is what makes TeamUp one of the most effective mindfulness programs in the workplace today.
The TeamUp mindfulness taster sessions. This is a two hour introduction to mindfulness. We'll go through the neuroscience behind mindfulness and the benefits that can be had from developing a personal mindfulness practice. All participants will leave with good understanding of the concept and some practical exercises to get themselves started. Between 1 and 100 participants. One and two day tailor made workshops. We'll create a mindfulness workshop based on the specific brief of your organization. Key elements can be unweighted depending on your requirements. For example team building and collaboration or dealing with stressful situations. Between 1 and 100 participants. An 8 week module based program consisting of 8 two hour sessions per week. This program is an in depth mindfulness program covering a range of subjects from developing a personal mindfulness practice, to managing emotions, improving communication and developing strong intuitive skills. Between 1 and 100 participants. Our flagship TeamUp Triad Coaching program. A ten week online program which involves three employees, ideally from different departments and a professionally trained facilitator. This group meets every week for 90 minutes to discuss challenge and implement changes they want to make in their life both at home and at work. The net result is individuals who report, among other things, improve communication skills, less stress, higher performance and far higher levels of contentment.
